When we began developing ORRA, many of our early conversations focused on what we wouldn’t include.
In the supplement industry, products are often designed by starting with cost and convenience. Flavours, colours, and other additives can be used to create a particular taste or appearance, while ingredient quantities are sometimes difficult for consumers to interpret.
We wanted to approach formulation differently.
Our philosophy is built on a simple principle: every ingredient should have a clear role within the formulation. If an ingredient does not contribute to the purpose of the product or the overall formulation strategy, we prefer not to include it.
What Stays Out
Our formulas avoid unnecessary additives wherever possible. We focus on keeping the ingredient list straightforward and transparent, rather than relying on colours or flavour systems designed primarily for visual appeal.
We also aim to minimise ingredients that are included only for manufacturing convenience, keeping the formulation focused on its intended nutritional role.
What Stays In
When selecting ingredients, we look for nutrient forms that align with established nutritional functions in the body. This includes nutrients that contribute to normal physiological processes such as normal muscle function, energy-yielding metabolism, and antioxidant protection.
Each ingredient is included with a specific purpose in mind, and we prioritise clarity about what is in the product and why it is there.
Developing products this way often requires more time and careful sourcing, but we believe transparency and formulation integrity are worth the effort.
ORRA is built for people who value understanding what they are putting into their bodies and why.
Quality is a choice. We’ve made ours.
